Johan ran back to Old Farm from the mountains and changed into a human. He sat on the crisp, cool grass and cried slightly. If he was so smart, couldn't he have gone to someone else besides Darcia? It didn't matter now, he must have lloked like a failure to his mate.

He sighed and said, "I came here for adventure. My home is actually far from here, where there is not these derranged people who want to kill wolves. The wolves at my home are protected, but I can't remember who to get back to my home."
